The Reds want to beat Barcelona on and off the pitch and this is what the club would do.

Liverpool are reportedly ahead of Barca and Madrid in the bidding for Youssoufa Moukoko. Jürgen Klopp's desire and his good relations with Dortmund could end up winning out. At just 17 years of age, Youssoufa Moukoko has become one of the most attractive 'jewels' of European football, attracting the attention of several big clubs on the continent; among them, FC Barcelona and Real Madrid. However, there is now a new interest in his services, which could see the Cameroonian-born German join their ranks in the summer of 2023.

According to the 'Daily Mail' the competitor for the striker would be the team managed by Jürgen Klopp, who will take advantage of the option to 'fish' in free agency: "Liverpool lead the race for the signing of Borussia Dortmund star Youssoufa Moukoko ahead of Barcelona, Real Madrid and PSG, as the 17-year-old striker will become a free agent next summer".

The newspaper has indicated that, although there are also other clubs that have been following him closely, such as Manchester United or a regular expert in 'stealing' talent from the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich, the Merseyside side look favourites in the 'bidding' for the striker. But there is still just under a year to go to find out what the player's situation will be until then.

Youssoufa Moukoko is one of the most promising young players in world football. A youth player at St. Pauli, the striker has been scouted by scouts from Europe's top clubs for several years, but is still with Borussia Dortmund in the first team. The German footballer, who is of Cameroonian origin, is not yet of age. He turns 18 on 20 November, but wants to become independent from his parents as soon as possible so that he can sign his first big contract in the world of football on his own.

According to the newspaper 'Bild', Borussia Dortmund offered the striker a three-year, ten million contract, an offer that Moukoko rejected, wanting to wait until he is of age. This is because as long as he is not 18, his parents still have access to his accounts. As sources in the German media say, Moukoko's signing with agent Patrick Williams led to arguments in the family because his parents claim that Williams is greedy. This has led the German to want to auction off the house where his parents live in Hamburg, valued at one million euros.
