Liverpool will have a season that will test every player in the squad

It is no secret that Liverpool's last season was disappointing and a resounding failure, because after several years in the elite of European football, Jürgen Klopp's team was left without winning a single trophy and we were also left out of the next edition of the UEFA Champions League, something totally unacceptable for the greatness of our club.

That is why, since the end of the 2022-2023 season, Jürgen Klopp has decided to make important changes in the team's structure, from departures and new signings, to changes in the way of coaching. In that sense, the Anfield board seems to support the decisions of our coach and, so far, they have managed to get him two great reinforcements that promise to become great figures of the team in the coming years, as both Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai are young players with a great future projection.

However, Jürgen Klopp knows that having talent is not enough to succeed, but it requires discipline and hard work to achieve the goals and objectives of the club this season, in which not only will they seek to reverse what was done last season, but also to break Manchester City's hegemony in the Premier League.

That is why, during the team's training sessions for the preseason they have been very demanding, as Klopp intends that all players arrive in the best possible way for the first game of the 2023-2024 campaign, although he must be careful not to demand too much from the players during the preseason, as his new strategy of implementing very heavy training sessions could be counterproductive.

Andrew Robertson has stated that pre-season training has been very difficult and tough, however it seems that he and the rest of the players are doing a great job. "It's early morning rises, tough sessions during the day and then when the sun comes out - everything makes it a lot harder. The three days have been incredibly tough," he said.
