The German coach made decisions that annoyed fans ahead of the clash with the Gunners

After the great collective play developed by the Liverpool team last Tuesday when they faced Rangers in the third UEFA Champions League matchday, the group led by Jurgen Klopp seeks to continue that winning synergy but now in the Premier League facing Arsenal, a team that will be a real test to the new adjustments that the German tactician has made in his tactical set-up.

On most occasions, coaches tend to repeat their line-up and tactical set-up if the results obtained from these adjustments lead to better results, and this is the case of Liverpool who seem to have found with this (4-2-3-1) an optimal balance to be able to attack and defend their goal without compromising the score at all times.

Job for Van Dijk, the Arsenal player Jürgen Klopp fears most and it's not Odegaard

This player has had a disastrous season, but Klopp is still backing him

With Jurgen Klopp fielding the same line-up as in their Champions League game, social media users were quick to praise and criticise the eleven that will take to the field against the Gunners, with the vast majority of them approving of having Diogo Jota starting, while others are angry that Darwin Nuñez will be in action from the opening whistle.

While the pessimism of some Reds fans in the commentary comments is that this line-up and possible tactical set-up will have no effect against the current runners-up, some others are questioning the lack of midfielder Fabinho in the starting eleven, as despite Jordan Henderson having some good starts, Merseyside fans still prefer the Brazilian international as their favourite player in that half of the pitch alongside Thiago Alcántara.

German coach's line-up left doubts

With just two wins so far this season, Jurgen Klopp's side face a daunting task against an Arsenal side looking to take all three points and reclaim top spot from Manchester City. Although the history of recent matches has been in Liverpool's favour, the Gunners seem to have a better style of football this season that could put them on the road to victory as Liverpool sink deeper into the title race.
