A masterstroke by our coach will weaken the London side

Despite being on hiatus due to the World Cup in Qatar, the news about the upcoming transfer market continues, with the epicentre of the "London Bridge", with rumours that a Chelsea superstar could leave for Liverpool, with the Red's, through Jürgen Klopp, going for 23-year-old midfielder Mason Mount.

The Blue's English midfielder is living an uncertainty about his future, as with the arrival of Graham Potter former Brighton Hove Albion manager, Mount is trying new positions in the field, something that has not been good for the London club with the last defeats in the Premier League (Newcastle and Arsenal) and EFL Cup, where they were thrown out in 1/16 of Final by Manchester City of Guardiola.

Mason's move could come at the end of his time with the England national team in Qatar. Mount is in the 23-man squad selected by Gareth Southgate, who is in charge of the Three Lions in his second spell as manager. England are drawn in Group B alongside Iran, USA and historic rivals Wales.

Mount came through the youth ranks at Chelsea FC, where he was promoted to the first team in the summer of 2017, going out on a year-long loan to Vitesse in the Dutch Eredivisie. For the 18/19 season, the midfielder again left the club for Derby Country. After playing in the Relegation Division the midfielder would return to Chelsea where he would establish himself as a regular starter.

Klopp knows that Mount could be the key to strengthening the Red's midfield, which has suffered during this half of the season due to injuries and a lack of star players. Not forgetting that Jordan Henderson and Trent Alexander-Arnold could lend Klopp a hand in convincing Mason to play at Anfield next season during the England camp.
