France are through to the semi-finals for the second consecutive World Cup, where they are looking for a second consecutive title

Qatar and the whole world vibrated with the tremendous game between France and England in the quarter-finals of the 2022 World Cup. Led by Kylian Mbappé, a golden generation of players dashed the dreams of the English team, who will have gone 60 years without lifting a World Cup in the next World Cup in 2026. Before such a match, Klopp applauded and recognised Kylian's performance at the tournament.

For some months now, there has been talk in France about the future of the 23-year-old superstar. Mbappé's entourage claim that despite having the best contract for a footballer at the moment, the striker is not entirely comfortable at Paris Saint-Germain, and could soon surprise the world with a decision to try a new challenge in his young and rising professional career.

Liverpool may be able to defeat Real Madrid to the Argentinian star signing

For the AS Monaco-trained player, emigrating from his home country of France where he finds himself in a fairly comfortable league, which every year makes PSG champions, makes Mbappé believe that his level is only tested in the UEFA Champions League, where in recent years the Parisians have tasted defeat on a constant basis, despite reaching the Grand Final in the 20/21 edition.

Liverpool is a club accustomed to competing at the highest level of the club competition, boasting six UCLs, and recently played in the Paris final against Real Madrid, who ironically they will face in February 2023. That is why Klopp would have reacted and sent a nod to Mbappé who could find a new home at Anfield.

For now, Kylian is enjoying France's progress to the semi-final in Qatar on social media, where they are favourites to beat Morocco in 90 minutes, who have been the 'dark horse' of this competition, having knocked out Spain and Portugal, in teams where they were underdogs, as they are now against the Gauls. Klopp, who is busy with the club's friendlies, will take some time to look at who could be his new signing in 2023, Kylian Mbappé.
