Jurgen Klopp's fury at another game full of misses for Darwin Nunez, this is the striker he wants to sign

Although Klopp's list of priorities includes the likes of Enzo Fernandez, Cody Gakpo, Kylian Mbappé and Jude Bellingham, the Reds would not see the idea of keeping Ronaldo around for at least a season after his controversial departure from Manchester United as far-fetched.  The Reds tactician sees the Portuguese attacker as a possible reinforcement that could give the squad the experience they need on a temporary basis, with CR7 being the element that would put pressure on Darwin Nunez who currently only has Roberto Firmino as his only competition.

While it is true that Cristiano Ronaldo's participation with Portugal left the impression that he is no longer a player belonging to the elite, his vast experience in big clubs can give him a second wind in the hands of Jurgen Klopp, identifying that both CR7 and Darwin Núñez have that similarity of being players dependent on their teammates to be able to function in an excellent way, giving Ronaldo an advantage when it comes to being able to define in the area and be more decisive than the Uruguayan.

Klopp wants a striker

Although Ronaldo is no longer the unstoppable player of previous years, Klopp could continue to exploit his potential based on his limitations and his virtues, with the Portuguese ahead of the Uruguayan in that section of being decisive in specific moments of a match that completely change the result throughout the 90 minutes.
