The Reds don't want to sign the wrong players in these upcoming transfer windows

After the World Cup kicked off with a resounding 2-0 win for Ecuador over Qatar, the different football teams are already analysing this match to draw their conclusions and analyse whether some of the players who saw action may be of interest to the coach as possible reinforcements in the not too distant future, with Liverpool being one of those institutions that will participate in this dynamic of selecting their potential signings.

Evidently institutions like Liverpool already have an extensive list of possible reinforcements for the 2023 market, with the Reds using this World Cup only to reaffirm their decision or discard candidates who at least in their clubs look with a greater projection, because for this occasion Jurgen Klopp does not want any more mistakes when buying and having again a team full of footballing deficiencies.

Both the Reds' German tactician and the entire recruitment team are fully aware of every talented, outstanding or promising player who will be on display in Qatar over the next few weeks, and they have to do their homework to determine whether or not the player in question is a candidate for a few seasons in a Liverpool shirt.

Although there are a number of players in different national teams who are of interest to Liverpool, the list has mainly underlined the names of some midfielders, with Jude Bellingham and Moises Caicedo gaining an advantage for their level shown at club level, with Declan Race, who is a team-mate of the British jewel of Borussia Dortmund, a little further behind. The Reds have also set their sights on Youssoufa Moukoko who is on German international duty.

Caicedo and Bellingham are the target

The Merseyside outfit are not just looking for the young player who can provide sparks of quality throughout his time in Qatar, but rather to find the regular player who will not disappoint once he wears the Liverpool shirt, for although the international tournament serves as a high-level test of what they can do, the short duration of the competition does not allow clubs to have an accurate answer as to whether or not they will approve a purchase.
