Liverpool and its obsession with another Uruguayan

Liverpool and its obsession with another Uruguayan

Both Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool seem to have misunderstood the issue about the excessive interest in a player and the constant fight for his recruitment, because just as it happened a few months ago with the millionaire arrival of Darwin Núnez who played for Benfica, now the Reds are sailing in the same direction with an Uruguayan who has more than one team in the Premier League delighted with his soccer displayed in LaLiga.

Liverpool set in motion their plans to break the next transfer market with this insinuation towards the Uruguayan star of Real Madrid, Federico Valverde, preparing the Anfield a juicy offer that even the merengue institution would be willing to listen, because in this attempt the Reds would improve the offer of their first attempt that was around 80 million pounds sterling, approaching this time much closer to those 100 million euros that the white institution asks for its Uruguayan jewel.

This interest that the English institution has is not new at all, because for Jurgen Klopp and the board, Valverde became one of their main targets to strengthen the midfield this summer, but unfortunately the sale of Casemiro to Manchester United threw down any kind of insinuation since in Madrid they were not willing to lose two important men in such a short period of time.

The Reds' sporting director, Julian Ward, knows that the Merengue institution has already established a certain figure for which they would pay attention for this transfer attempt, knowing both Carlo Ancelotti and the player of this interest at Anfield.  Should the Reds have what it takes to take Fede to the Premier League, Liverpool would have a new record fee, surpassing the £85.3 million that compatriot Darwin Núnez will eventually cost.

And even if the Uruguayan midfielder signs for Anfield in the next campaign, this does not mean that the Reds will stop following Jude Bellingham, because even if the Briton turns out to be even more expensive than Valverde, this player is an object of desire at Liverpool, as several players in that position will soon see their departure from the institution, speaking in the specific case of Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
