The Germans would be together in the same team, something that would worry VARdrid ahead of the Champions League tie against Liverpool

Germany's national team has fallen in the first round of the World Cup and has repeated the failure of 2018 or Euro 2020. The waters are troubled in the old Mannschaft and the first head that could roll is that of Hans-Dieter Flick. Hansi Flick was the first to take the blame for the debacle of losing in Germany's group alongside Spain, Japan and Costa Rica. "We'll sort it out quickly, it's difficult to respond now just after the game when we're eliminated. We'll see soon," the Germany coach said.

The German press has already started the dance of names and from this newspaper we can confirm the two big targets they have: Jürgen Klopp and Thomas Tuchel. Two coaches who are in opposite situations, but who have never closed the door on the possibility of becoming Germany coach. Both German coaches (the one from Stuttgart and the one from Krumbach) have had great moments in the Bundesliga and after triumphing in Europe, they are both targets of the Deutsche Fußballnationalmannschaft. They have made history and are now living on the edge of a tightrope.

The update on Klopp's departure from Liverpool to manage the German national team

Nobody forgets the merits of Klopp with Liverpool and, prior to that, his stardom at Signal Iduna Park. Much less is anyone forgetting Thomas Tuchel's in London that won them the Champions League. They are highly regarded by the German national team and could be the chosen ones to inherit what Flick has not been able to have: the legacy of Joachim Low's Germany.

They are considering different names for the Teutonic national team, but, at the same time, there is another priority objective that this newspaper has learned of: a great coach, yes, and also the return of Toni Kroos until the 2024 European Championship. The Greifswald-born player remained firm: he wants space to be with his family and, at club level, to be able to stretch his career at the Santiago Bernabeu to the maximum.

Klopp and Kroos go to the German national team

It doesn't look like he can change his mind and it doesn't look like Real Madrid would agree to his return, but the German Football Association are pushing for a double whammy in the near future. The reputation of the four-time world champion and one of its greatest legends in recent years is at stake.
