Kylian Mbappé and Paris Saint-Germain appear to have signed a truce of sorts. After the soap opera of the last two weeks, in which France's most famous and popular media leaked the striker's weariness at the Parc des Princes, the Parisian player came out to calm the rumours. "It's completely false that I asked to leave PSG in January," Mbappé confessed after his side's latest win over Olympique Marseille.
However, from Qatar, they are already preparing a new meeting with the French striker to study possible solutions and keep him away from Real Madrid. In order to find out more about the current situation, the Bernabéu Digital website had an extensive chat with Hugo Cappelaere, Canal+ journalist, columnist for Le Club Des 5 and Paris United broadcaster.

Klopp teases Manchester United, this is the star signing he would take from them
First of all, Hugo acknowledges that the soap opera has calmed down, but that Mbappé will most likely end up leaving PSG in the summer: 'He just calmed down. He will never leave in January, it's impossible. On the other hand, for next summer, I do think it's practically certain that he will leave,' says the French journalist. It is therefore easy to think that Real Madrid will ask again in the summer for the signing of Mbappé. However, for the moment, Real Madrid are passing on the Parisian striker.
The calabazas that they received in May, and the attitude that the player has been showing lately, are weighing heavily on the Merengues, where they are not currently contemplating his incorporation, as the main Spanish media point out and as Hugo Cappelaere also stresses: 'I am not sure that Real Madrid is the number 1 candidate to sign him. Florentino Pérez sees how Mbappé and his entourage are behaving behind the scenes and I don't think he likes it at all'.
'He doesn't want players like that, of that mentality, in the Real Madrid dressing room. Especially because Vinicius' size on the left is enormous. If Mbappé arrived, where would he play? On the right? Impossible. I think it's more likely that Mbappé will go to Liverpool next summer,' said the French journalist.
