A very favourable renewal for the player

Liverpool is still looking for the continuity of most of their players in their project, that is why they are still looking for the extension of the contracts that expired soon, taking a big step for the continuity of this great project, reslpandando both the coach Jürgen Klopp and his players.

So with a view to the future and now they are closing the renewal of another of their players and this Monday they announced the renewal of fullback Kostas Tsimikas, who extended his contract until June 2027, so this will be a long-term contract that benefits the player.

So as well as extending his stay at Anfield, the Greece full-back has also been given a considerable pay rise from €3.920 million a year to approximately €4.440 million, making it an excellent contract, where he will earn more money than the youthful Curtis Jones who earns €2.835 million, even though the young midfielder is earning a starting place in the team.
After his big renewal Kostas delcaro his great appreciation and happiness to be at Anfield "I feel very happy to be here to renew my contract. I feel that all the sacrifices I made and other things, the work I put in, [that] it's all worth it." Making it clear that this has been a big step for the international player with Greece.

What lies ahead for Kostas at Liverpool

Despite not being the first-choice starter in Klopp's side, Tsimikas has a role to play in the event of an injury to Andy Robertson, or to start in the cups, but the competition at Anfield this season is very high, so no one can be guaranteed a starting place, and the 26-year-old will continue to work to be able to start as many games as possible.
