The transfer window is about to start and the big clubs in Europe are already preparing to sign the players they consider necessary to improve their respective squads. Liverpool is shaping up to be one of the teams with the most activity and in recent weeks one of the key players in Jürgen Klopp's scheme has been linked with a possible exit, we are talking about Andrew Robertson.
Robertson, 29, has been one of the most important players for the Reds' most recent winning streak by winning every trophy possible. During his time at Anfield, Andy has become one of the best in the world in his position and that is why he has attracted the interest of other big teams such as Real Madrid, who have shown great interest in bringing him to their team.
For now, Real Madrid's interest in Robertson has not come officially in the form of an offer, however it seems that it is only a matter of time before the Spanish club initiates contacts with Liverpool's board to inquire about Robertson's availability. What has surprised several fans is that, during this time, Robertson has not commented on the matter, leaving the door open to a possible departure this summer.
In any case, should it be confirmed that Andrew Robertson leaves Anfield, Klopp would already have his replacement in mind and, best of all, it is a player who already belongs to the club and who has shown his love for the team: Konstantinos Tsimikas.
Tsimikas recently stated that for him being at Liverpool is a dream come true and that he is honored to be considered a "Scouser". "Here, at Liverpool, I am living my dream. Honestly, when I was a child, my life's dream was to grow up and play at the top football level, in the top league, and with a top team. This dream became reality", he said.
