The soap opera of the summer is once again the possible departure of Kylian Mbappé from Paris Saint-Germain, as the 24-year-old French star has told the Parisian club that he has no intention of renewing his contract with them so he would become a free agent next year. Following this, several teams, including our Liverpool has been linked with a possible interest in Mbappé, but to tell the truth it seems that the French striker has decided to play at Real Madrid.
This situation has generated a real chaos at PSG, as the Parisian team has tried to sell him to any interested team, but Mbappé has refused to even meet with any club. Inlcuso, Jürgen Klopp himself said that he laughs when he hears about the rumors that approached our Liverpool to Kylian, as he assured that it would be an economically unfeasible operation.
Within the problems generated by Mbappé's situation with PSG, it has now been reported that his new coach, Luis Enrique, is seriously considering leaving the position without even having made his debut in an official match, as the Spanish coach is not sure of the solidity of the Parisian project, since it seems that Mbappé's departure is imminent and also other important players could leave the team and our Liverpool could give a definitive blow to PSG.
Since a few days ago it was reported that Marco Verratti was on Jürgen Klopp's radar to reinforce the team's midfield. However, a Saudi club contacted the player who apparently would have accepted the salary offer, but the Saudi club would have offered only 30 million euros for Verratti, an amount that PSG considered too low, but that opens the possibility for the Italian midfielder to leave the club if a better offer arrives and that could be from Liverpool.
