Anfield isn´t just the most passionate stadium in England, now will also be one of the biggest ones

Liverpool has one of the most passionate stadiums in the whole world. People from all around the globe fly to experience the atmosphere during the Reds games and now, even more people can go to enjoy the best team in England. 

Ten months ago, construction has been going into place inside the stadium to enlarge the capacity. Currently, Anfield hosts up to 53.394 people throughout the whole stadium. Now, with the roof being lifted to put more seats, its expected to increase 7.606 more seats, meaning that now the stadium will have a capacity for 61.000 people. 

One of the biggest stadiums in England

The Olympic Stadium in London, where West Ham United are hosts, has a capacity for 60.000 people, Manchester City's home, Etihad Stadium, has 55.097 seats. Emirates Stadium, home of Arsenal FC, has a capacity for 60, 260 people and Stamford Bridge only hosts 41,387 other people. That means that Anfield Road will now be the third most biggest stadium in England just behind Tottenham Hotspur stadium with 62.850 seats and Old Trafford, that has 74,140 seats.
