Arsenal managed to take all three points against Liverpool. Jürgen Klopp, manager of the Reds, came out after the game to the press conference visibly upset by the outcome of the match. He spoke about their position in the table: "We don't have to look at the standings yet. I know where we are without looking at it, we are not fools, this is not the problem. It's the points and we have to sort it out."

Klopp said after the game: "Now that the game is over, we can't accept this situation. We did a lot of things well, we scored nice goals against the most in-form team in the Premiership and we played well, but we lost 3-2. We need three points and this is what we have to solve. How? By working, talking, thinking, and then talking to the boys and then training them and helping them, and then coming back again," he added of the possible remedy to Liverpool's tenth-placed situation.

Arsenal's 3-2 home win over Liverpool on Sunday reconfirmed that they are a complete, compact and serious squad that wants to do great things this season.  The match was in the tenth round of the Premier League.  The Gunners came out on top in a tightly contested match that was won by whoever wanted to win the most and whoever was most effective in front of goal. Saka scored a brace to put Arsenal ahead twice and finally give them the three points.

There was no time to take a seat and take a swig from the uncapped water bottle that nearly spilled the whole bottle. What Arsenal did throw a bucket of cold water on a Liverpool side that didn't even notice the speed with which their opponents built up the play. Odegaard's through ball to Martinelli, who slipped the ball through to Odegaard, and the Brazilian beat Alisson with a first-time shot. Of course there was no shortage of controversy at the Emirates and it was not long in coming.

The ball hit Gabriel Magalhaes' hand and the VAR referee saw nothing. It seemed quite clear that it was a penalty because the player had his arm completely off his body. The train said to carry on and on the half-hour Saliba could have scored his own goal before keeping out what was a Liverpool goal after a killer pass. Thank goodness Ramsdale intervened well, although Liverpool had a lot to say.
