Liverpool swaps Nike for Adidas return

The Reds are gearing up to kick off a new era with a fresh Adidas kit, with a "highly accurate" image of their new strip leaking online.

Numerous leaks have already surfaced regarding the potential design of the Reds' new kit as they prepare to reunite with Adidas for the first time in 13 years. Now, Footy Headlines has created what they believe to be the most accurate representation of the home kit so far, having teamed up with graphic designer @lfcdzn11.

Tribute to Steven Gerrard's time

The image reveals that the "no-nonsense" stripe features an "updated collar", as well as white logos on the traditional red shirt, which is described as "Strawberry Red". The supposed new Liverpool kit bears a striking resemblance to the one worn by Rafa Benitez's Reds during the 2006/07 season.

What can fans expect?

The new Liverpool kit promises to please traditional fans who see it as a nod to the club's glorious past. At the same time, the modern and updated design ensures that the kit will appeal to new generations.
