A year ago, Jürgen Klopp and the Anfield board managed to secure the arrival of a midfielder who promised to be one of the best in the world in the coming years, and some even dared to say that he would be the next Steven Gerrard, but like most of the players who arrive being compared to the club's legends, he ended up disappointing everyone and now he has no team.
We are talking about Arthur Melo, the 26-year-old Brazilian midfielder who arrived on loan last season to reinforce Liverpool's midfield, but despite being considered one of the great jewels of world football, he could not perform at a good level and ended up being a player with little recurrence in Klopp's scheme.
Melo, who belongs to Juventus, had no place in Liverpool once the season ended, as Jürgen Klopp told him that they would not buy him and that he should return to Italy, but when he arrived at his current team, he was informed that he was not part of the coach's plans despite having a contract with them until 2025, so he should look for a new team.
The young midfielder, who was once valued at 70 million euros, has spent weeks without finding any team that wants him and is willing to pay for him, despite the fact that his price would now be around 15 million euros. Fortunately for him, however, it looks like he could be given another chance to show the talent that once made him part of the best team in England.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Fiorentina would be interested in approaching Arthur's entourage and asking for him. Currently there has been no formal offer to the player or to Juventus, but the journalist claims that there would also be other teams monitoring the possibility of signing the Brazilian.
