Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has played down speculation about his future at the club. Despite rumors linking him with a move away from Anfield, the Egyptian winger insisted his sole focus is on helping the Reds achieve success this season.
Following Liverpool's emphatic 5-0 victory over West Ham, during which Salah once again found the net, the Egyptian was quizzed about his contract situation. With his current deal set to expire in June 2025, there has been much speculation about whether he will extend his stay at Anfield.
However, Salah remained coy about his future. "I'm just focused on helping the team win trophies," he said. "We have a great manager in Arne Slot, and I want to be a part of something special here."
The winger's comments will undoubtedly fuel speculation among Liverpool fans, who are eager to see their star man commit his long-term future to the club. Salah has been instrumental in Liverpool's success since joining from Roma in 2017, and his departure would be a significant blow to the team.
