Liverpool added another victory on Wednesday, February 26, against Newcastle and continues to pull away in the table from Arsenal. With a 13-point difference and 10 games left, it is known when the Premier League title could be secured

Despite Luis Díaz's inconsistent season, Liverpool have managed to dominate the Premier League and are top of the table by 13 points over Arsenal in second place. With 11 games remaining (10 for the Reds), it is possible to calculate when they could secure the title.

While the combination of results gives an infinite number of possibilities for Liverpool , the maximum possible score for Arsenal allows the 'Reds' to estimate when they could mathematically be crowned champions.

How many points does Liverpool need?

Considering Arsenal have 11 more games to play in this Premier League campaign, the maximum points they could reach by the end of the season is 87 points. This is assuming they win all their remaining games.

Liverpool will therefore secure the championship if they get 88 points. With 67 points with 10 games remaining, Arne Slot's team would do so if they win 7 of their remaining games. Another option would be to win 6 games and draw 3.

Winning 5 games or less means Liverpool will no longer depend on themselves to win the Premier League title, requiring Arsenal to also drop points along the way. Similarly, if the Reds do their duty and the Gunners stumble, it would bring forward the possible date of Luis Díaz's consecration.
